Apply hereSenior Buyer in Planned Works Team
We have a vacancy for a Senior Buyer in our Planned Works team. This is a replacement head as a result of an internal promotion.
We are looking for a procurement professional, ideally with relevant Category experience. You will have responsibility for delivering compliant end-to-end procurement activity, implementing, and managing supplier and member contracts and analysing statistical and financial information within your category area. The role requires the development of key relationships with suppliers and customers and the implementation of contracts within the assigned category, specifically focusing on commercial and customer benefits. You need to be sufficiently confident to work on your own for the majority of time and be self-motivated in driving your own workload. There will be no line management responsibility initially but as the Team grows this will likely become a requirement, so previous experience is necessary.
You should have strong specification and analytical skills. It’s a key requirement to have experience in using Excel and functionality such as formulas and pivot tables but that you would consider yourself confident and competent in this area as well. You should be aspirational with a good attitude (i.e. procurement is a career path you want to continue to pursue and move forward in). You work well in a team, have public sector and social housing experience.
You will be required to work in the predominant categories listed but you may be required to assist in other categories as and when requested.
Predominant Categories
- Planned and Capital Works DPS
- Decarbonisation
- Professional Services
If you are interested in applying please email Julie Holt, jholt@inprova.com giving a brief outline of how and why you believe you have the necessary skills, qualifications and experience and attach an up to date CV.
Closing date to apply is, Friday, 23rd June.
