Glen Timms

Chairman

As well as Inprova, Glenn currently serves as Chair of four private equity-backed businesses.

Following an MBA and Chartered Accounting business apprenticeship, Glenn spent the first thirteen years of his career in the corporate finance and strategy advisory and consulting world, latterly as a partner with PWC, including five years living and working in the USA. After that, Glenn worked in two large corporate environments for five years, including as Head of Corporate Finance and Strategy at what is now Diageo and serving as an Operating Partner at a large private equity firm.

More recently, Glenn has served as CEO of five businesses over nineteen years, leading several successful realisations for private equity investors, including Liberata, a public sector outsourcing business, and IESA, a digital procurement platform.

Steve Malone

CEO

Steve has been with the business since August 2008, working for several major UK and European organisations.

He joined Inprova as part of the MBO team and has led the business through rapid growth, investment and change, shaping the procurement business significantly. He has often worked in turn-around and complex stakeholder environments and commits to creating and delivering value.

Steve has 25 years of experience in supply chain and outsourcing. Having spent ten years with AAH Pharmaceuticals and Lloyds Pharmacy Group, he moved to a division of Hays Plc as Contracts Director, developing critical public and private sector business and completing an operational turn-around programme in several sites. Latterly, Steve has held many senior positions with A4e, ICS and 3M, leading on high-profile contracts within the UK and globally.
In his spare time, he loves being outdoors, predominantly golfing or walking.

Steve holds a Master’s degree, is a qualified Chartered Director, and is a Non-Executive on several third-sector organisations.

Lisa Lynch

Managing Director

Lisa joined the group in 2012 as Integration Director for the Energy acquisitions through to the completion of the divestment of the energy division at the end of 2018.

Lisa then became the Group Commercial & Operations Director, building on the continued growth of the business. In 2020 Lisa then became Managing Director.

Lisa has worked in the private and public sectors for 14 years at Hays Plc. As a qualified CIPD professional, Lisa is passionate about enabling our employees to develop and grow in a vibrant culture that focuses on delivering outstanding customer experience.

Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends; she is also partial to a spa treatment of two!

Richard Godsland

Finance Director

Rich has been with the business since 2021 and is part of the MBO team. He is a qualified Global Chartered Management Accountant and MAAT with over 16 years of experience in multiple industries and PE environments. He was awarded North West Finance Director of the Year (under £25m turnover) in 2023.

Prior to joining Inprova, Rich spent 6 years at Placefirst, where he held the position of Group Finance Controller. He was critical to the growth within the business, both financially and operationally, and saw a portfolio of 55 units to grow to over 1,200. During his time at Placefirst, one of Rich’s many key achievements was facilitating a VAT strategy saving the business over £1m through company and contract structure. He also assisted in major refinancing projects across the portfolio.

Prior to Placefirst, Rich cultivated his trade at Timpson Ltd where he learnt the importance and power of a strong culture within an organisation.

In his spare time, Rich enjoys spending his hours with his family, Catherine, and Louis as well as travelling and playing golf.

Rob Peck

Chief Commercial Officer

Rob joined Inprova in 2007, has been a senior leadership team member since 2012 and is part of the MBO team.

He is an MCIPS-qualified procurement professional with a strong track record of developing and delivering innovative solutions, influencing leadership teams and positioning procurement as a business enabler.

Rob is focused on delivering customer value through service excellence and data analytics, identifying opportunities for organic growth in existing markets and potential expansion into new verticals.

With a supply chain and logistics degree, Rob started his career at Tesco before joining Inprova.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and children.  A keen sports enthusiast, he runs his son’s junior football team and plays football, golf and cricket.

Phil Moss

Chief  Technology Officer

Phil is an experienced technologist with a passion for innovation. A member of the MBO team, Phil joined the Inprova Group in 2014 through the acquisition of the technology business Valueworks where he had led the development of procurement technology, including Purchas2Pay platform Eproc, as well as Catalogue Management tools and analytics since 2008.

With a strong background in software engineering and a wealth of experience in leading development teams, Phil brings a deep understanding of technology and its applications.

Phil leverages his extensive technological expertise to drive innovation and spearhead the development of cutting-edge technologies. His proficiency in software engineering, leadership abilities and personal interests make him a well-rounded technologist dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering impactful results.

Before his time at Inprova, Phil served as Development Director at a UK-based software house, where he played a crucial role in leading the development of ERP/MRP solutions for manufacturing businesses in the aerospace sector. This experience gave him valuable insight into the intricacies of technology and its role in delivering operational efficiency and growth.

Phil values personal connections and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys exploring the world of photography.

Phil’s experience as an accomplished technologist significantly contributes to Inprova Groups’ ability to leverage technology effectively, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry.

Darren Marl

Head of Business Development

Darren joined the business back in 2017 and is now part of the MBO team.  He has spent the last 20 years working in businesses focussed on providing products and services to the Social Housing and wider Public Sector.  It is during this time that Darren has built a wealth of knowledge and experience understanding the challenges the sector faces and developed a passion to support customers improve the delivery of services for their organisation and their tenants.

Prior to joining Inprova Darren spent 5 years at VPS UK Ltd where he headed up the Social Housing & Public Sector Division, driving his category growth from £5m to £12m over a 3-year period.  As a shareholder he was instrumental in increasing the value of the business prior to the PE sale.

One of Darren’s key achievements during his time at Inprova was how he and the team managed the engagement and support for PfH members during the pandemic.  During a period of such uncertainty, they managed to continue providing an unrivalled support for their membership, being creative to drive consistency of supply chain and maintaining compliance, whilst also achieving growth for the Inprova business.

Out of work Darren enjoys holidays with his family, playing golf and for some reason supporting Everton!

Neil Butters

Head of Procurement

Neil joined Inprova in 2016 and is part of the MBO team.  Since joining, Neil has emerged as a though leader in the social housing sector.  His contributions have shaped industry best practice and strategy, optimizing procurement not only within PfH but also across the broader social housing community.  During his tenure, Neil has focused on delivering procurement solutions that enable public sector organisations to maximise the delivery of outcomes and the realization of benefits.  Neil also has a passion for people, planet and place, leading Inprova on their ESG journey and continues to work both internally and across the sector to affecting long term change for the better.

Prior to joining Inprova Neil worked in various procurement roles across the public and private sectors and prior to that, worked on superyachts.

In his spare time Neil enjoys family time, playing golf and running.
